Infini’s Momentum Builds as New Drilling Confirms Widespread Uranium Mineralisation

Infini Resources Ltd (ASX: I88) is strengthening its position in Canada’s emerging uranium exploration scene after releasing fresh drilling results that confirm visible uranium mineralisation across multiple holes at its Portland Creek Project in Newfoundland.

The latest update marks another step forward in what is quickly becoming one of the more closely watched early-stage uranium developments on the ASX, with the company reporting new structural and geochemical evidence that suggests potential for a district-scale system.

I88 shares traded at 27 cents, up 3.85 percent by early afternoon, with more than 1.5 million shares changing hands.

Visible Uranium Now Found Across Multiple Drill Targets

Infini confirmed the presence of visible uranium minerals and elevated uranium readings at various locations separated by kilometres, strengthening the case for a broad, structurally controlled uranium system.

The company reported that the expanded drill campaign continues to intersect strong geochemical and geophysical patterns along a six-kilometre corridor defined by:

  • uranium-in-soil anomalies
  • radiometric highs
  • airborne EM conductors
  • multiple structural features

Phase 2 drilling has now passed a milestone of nearly 4,000 metres drilled, with the latest holes intersecting fresh zones of mineralisation.

A key image provided in the announcement shows drill core from hole PCDD25-014 containing visibly mineralised sections at a depth of 28 metres.

CEO Rohan Bone: “Results continue to surpass our expectations”

In a detailed statement, Infini CEO Rohan Bone emphasised the scale and significance of what the company is now seeing across the project:

The Phase 2 drilling program at Portland Creek continues to surpass our expectations. We are now seeing visible uranium and elevated U readings across multiple targets over a kilometre apart, demonstrating the potential scale of this emerging district. The additional presence of zinc, copper and molybdenum further reinforces the potential for a significant polymetallic uranium system. With nearly 4,000 metres drilled already and several high-priority structures still to be tested, Portland Creek is quickly shaping into one of the most compelling early-stage uranium projects in Canada.

His comments reinforce that Infini is not just identifying isolated zones but an interconnected mineralised system with encouraging depth potential and continuity.

Polymetallic Potential Adds Extra Dimensions

A notable aspect of the latest update is the continued observation of polymetallic signatures across several drill holes.

Infini reported enrichment of:

  • zinc
  • copper
  • molybdenum
  • titanium

These are associated with hydrothermal alteration zones consistent with large-scale mineralised systems.

The presence of multiple metals boosts the project’s upside and highlights geological similarities to other Canadian uranium districts where polymetallic paths have been precursors to major discoveries.

A Growing Mineralised System with District-Scale Implications

The company says it is “encouraged” by the indicators of a large mineralised system encountered to date. Early drilling has already tested multiple zones, but more high-priority structures remain untested.

With the drill campaign scheduled to continue through early December and first assays due in Q4 CY2025, the next phase of results may provide crucial clarity on uranium grades and system continuity.

If assay grades align with the visible mineralisation observed to date, Portland Creek could rapidly transition from early curiosity to one of the more meaningful new uranium stories on the ASX.

Market Reaction: A Small-Cap Explorer Regaining Attention

Infini Resources remains a micro-cap at a market capitalisation of $23.1 million, but the company’s recent technical progress has helped stabilise sentiment after a volatile year that saw the stock range between 7.8 cents and 76 cents.

The share price lift today reflects fresh interest in uranium explorers, combined with the company’s ability to consistently report meaningful geological results.

Investors appear to be responding to the widening footprint of mineralisation, particularly as the company’s early interpretations now lean toward a larger, district-scale system.

What Comes Next

The coming quarter will be significant for Infini, with several important catalysts lined up:

  • Ongoing Phase 2 drilling into December
  • Laboratory assays expected in Q4
  • Potential discovery of additional high-priority structures
  • Expansion of geophysical modelling and geological interpretation

Infini is still in the early stages, but the combination of visible uranium, consistent structural hits and polymetallic enrichment is shaping a promising narrative heading into 2026.
